1880 - Small Violin

Soundboard of two pieces of spruce with regular medium grain. Back of two pieces of curly maple with medium curl, glued herringbone with vertex at the bottom. Ribs oo wood similar to that of the back. Original neck retained at the lower block by a modern screw that replaced the original nail. Golden-yellow varnish.
