1719 - Violin "Haupt"
Soundboard of spruce to medium irregular grain. Back of two pieces of curly maple to medium-broad curl, glued in a herringbone pattern with apex at the top. Ribs of wood similar to that of the back. Scroll of curly maple to faint broad curl. Light orange-brown varnish.
