1735 - Violin "Hartmann - Samazeuilh - Elman"

Soundboard of spruce with medium grain that narrows toward the center. Back of two pieces of curly maple with faint broad curl, predominantly horizontal. Ribs of curly maple to medium curl. Scroll of wood similar to that of thefback. Red-brown varnish on a golden ground.
