1679 - Violin "Hellier"

Soundboard of spruce at fine grain that widens towards the flanks, hemmed with inlays of lozenges and small circles in ivory on the black stucco. Back of one piece of curly maple to broad curl descending to the right, hemmed with inlais of lozanges and small circles of ivory on black stucco. Ribs and scroll of wood similar to that of the bottom, decorated with plant shoots engraved and filled with black filler.
