1715 - Viola "Russian"

Soundboard of two pieces of spruce, which has three fractures in the edge of the left lower lobe, with a wooden dowel different at the same point on the edge. Back of two-piece of maple radial cut with medium curl, glued in a herringbone pattern with apex at the bottom; has two mounting holes on the lower and upper block and the nose rebuilt. Ribs into five pieces (bottom in one piece and never removed from the back), with three small fractures in the right lower lobe. Original scroll with the edges dyed black. Orange varnish.
