1660/70 - Viola
The instrument is in good conditions although made with "carelessness". The soundboard is in two pieces of spruce to regural vein, which presents a small fracture at the lower left board, another above the lower eye of the effe left and a more evident under the top eye of effe right. Backof two pieces of curly maple with medium-narrow curl poorly marked and irregular, with medullary rays very obvious, bonded to lightweight herringbone with vertex at the top. Scroll of maple smooth. Yellow-brown varnish.
