1629 - Violin
The back is two-piece of open-grained spruce, with many fractures: five in the left lower bout, two in the right lower bout and two in the upper right bout. The back is two-piece of maple of faint descending curl. The nose is reinforced.The ribs are of wood similar to back, except for the right upper one, of different wood. The purflings are wide and impeccably made. The varnish is yellow.
