1650 c. - Cello
The top is of spruce, made of one central piece and four pieces at the bouts. It has several fractures near the lower border, one on the left and six on the right of the tailpiece. The back is two-piece of maple of faint curl, with an onsert in the lower right bout, to reach the required width. It has double borders. In the middle, between the C-bouts, there is a 5 mm wide hole, which is now stopped up, once used to hook the shoulder strap to carry the instrument when the musician was playng standing up. The nose is not original, with many fractures and restored scratch by woodworms. The ribs have multiple fractures everywhere. The varnish is golden-brown.
