1875 - Violin

Soundboard of spruce with medium grain. Back of two pieces of curly maple with faint medium-narrow curl, glued in a herringbone pattern with vertex at the bottom. Ribs of wood similar to that of the beck. Scroll of maple smooth. Golden-brown varnish.
