1870 - Violin
Soundboard of spruce with medium grain. Back of two pieces of curly maple with medium curl, glued in a herringbone pattern with vertex at the top. Ribs of wood similar to that of the back. Scroll of curly maple with narrow curl. Red-brown varnish.
