1793 - Violin

Soundboard of spruce at narrow grain and well-defined. Back of one-piece of curly maple with a faint medium curl irregular, predominantly horizontal. Ribs of wood similar to that of the back. Scroll of curly maple at smaller curl and less pronounced than that of the back. Golden-brown varnish.
