1767/1801 - Violin

Soundboard of spruce in narrow grain to the center that widens at the flanks, as modified in its form. Back of two pieces of curly maple with a faint medium curl, glued in a herringbone pattern with apex at the bottom. Ribs and scroll of wood similar to that of the back. Golden-brown varnish.
