1743 - Violin "Baron Heath"
Soundboard of spruce with narrow vein that widens at the flanks. Back of two pieces of curly maple with medium curl, glued in a herringbone pattern with vertex at the top. Ribs of wood similar to that of the back; the lower rib in a single piece. Red-brown varnish.
