1742 - Violin "Henry Holst"
Soundboard of spruce with very narrow vein in the center that widens at the flanks. Back of two pieces of curly maple with medium curl, glued to lightweight herringbone with vertex at the bottom. Ribs of wood similar to that of the back. Scroll of curly maple with faint medium curl. Orange-brown varnish.
