1740 - Half violin (Pochette) "Fountaine"

The soundboard has within the unique original bass bar of Guarneri del Gesù that still exists. Back of two pieces of curly maple with medium curl, glued to lightweight herringbone with vertex at the top. Scroll of about 1840 of John Frederick Lott II.
