1739/76 - Violin

Soundboard of spruce with medium grain, possibly of a later period. Back of two pieces of curly maple with a high narrow-medium curl, glued to lightweight herringbone with  vertex at the bottom. Ribs and scroll of wood similar to that of the back. Golden-red varnish.
