1732 - Violin "Red Diamond"

Soundboard of spruce to medium grain, which widens towards the hips. Back of two pieces of curly maple with very faint broad curl, glued to lightweight herringbone with apex at the top. Ribs of curly maple to curl more pronounced. Scroll of plain maple. Reddish-brown varnish.
