1730 c. - Cello "Scholz"

Soundboard of spruce with medium grain that widens, coming from the Vaslin-Composite Cello of 1727 c.. Back of two pieces of curly maple with broad curl, glued in a herringbone pattern with apex at the top. Ribs of wood similar to that of the back. Scroll of curly maple with narrow curl. Red varnish on a gold background.
