1729 - Violin "Lambert - Solomon"

Soundboard of spruce with fine vein that widens towards the sides. Back of two pieces of curly maple with broad curl, glued in a herringbone pattern with apex at the top. Ribs of wood similar to that of the back. Scroll of curly maple with narrow curl. Light golden-brown varnish.
