1727 c. - Cello "Fruh"

Bass viol transformed into cello, which recognizes the work of Antonio Stradivari and his son Homobonus. Soundboard of spruce that showing at the top of the original line of the shoulders of the "viola da gamba". Flat back of two pieces of curly maple with a faint medium curl, glued to slight herringbone with apex at the top. At the top you can see the horizontal line of the fold ("scavissa") and the original remains of the purflings. Ribs and scroll of modern origin. Orange-brown varnish.
