1726 - Violin "Sleeping Beauty"

Soundboard of two pieces of spruce with vein narrow at center, which widens towards the flanks, probably from two different trees. Back of one piece of curly maple with very narrow horizontal curl, with original additions in the lower lobes. Ribs of wood similar to that of the back. Scroll of plain maple. Rich golden-brown varnish.
