1725 - Violin "Wilhelmj"
Soundboard of spruce to narrow vein to the center that widens at the flanks in the treble, open grain in the center of the bass side, that narrowing towards the flank. Back of two pieces of curly maple with very narrow curl, glued in a herringbone pattern with apex at the top. Ribs of wood similar to that of the back. Scroll of curly maple to medium curl, with traces of the original black edging. Red-brown varnish.
