1724 - Violin "Kurtz"
Soundboard of spruce with narrow grain at the center that widens at the flanks. Back of two pieces with braod curl, glued in a herringbone pattern with vertex at the top. Ribs and scroll of wood similar to that of the back. Orange-brown varnish on a golden ground.
