1720 - Violin "Mendelssohn"
Soundboard of spruce to medium grain. Back of two pieces of curly maple to curl medium-broad, glued in a herringbone pattern with apex at the top. Ribs and scroll of woode similar to that of the back. Red varnish on a golden ground.
