1720 c. - Viola "Castelbarco - Kux"

It was originally a viola d'amore transformed into alto viola by J. B. Vuillaume. Back of one piece of curly maple with narrow curl descending to the left, made by J. B. Vuillaume in 1850 c. Amati head of 1620 c. mass by J. B. Vuillaume (The original head of the instrument, with holes for 12 pegs, would be the one kept at the Musée de la Musique in Paris, inv. E. 484).
