Soundboard of spruce at medium vein. Back of two pieces of curly maple with broad curl, glued in a herringbone pattern with vertex at the bottom. Ribs of curly maple with medium curl. Scroll of curly maple with faint narrow curl. Orange-brown varnish.

- According Maucotel (1949), the instrument is by Pietro Guarneri of Mantua, but completed by his grandson Pietro Guarneri of Venice.
