Soundboard of spruce with narrow grain, which widens towards the hflanks. Back of two pieces of curly maple with medium curl, glued in a herringbone pattern with vertex at the bottom. Ribs of wood similar to that of the back. Scroll of curly maple to curl a bit wider. Orange-brown varnish.
