Soundboard of spruce with medium grain. Back of two pieces of curly maple on medium curl, glued in a herringbone pattern with apex at the bottom. Ribs of curly maple to narrow curl. Scroll of curly maple to broad curl. Red-brown varnish on a golden ground.
