1714 - Violin "General Kyd - Sinsheimer - Perlman"

Back of two pieces of curly maple radial cut and broad curl, glued in a herringbone pattern with apex at the top. Ribs of wood similar to that of the back but to narrow curl. Scroll of plain maple. Original neck, but with the addition of a wedge at the base for the modern interlocking in the upper block. Red varnish.
