Soundboard of spruce to medium grain that widens at the flanks, not original, perhaps made by Ranftler of Monaco (Hamma 1961). Back of one piece of curly maple with marked medium curl descendant to the right. Ribs of curly maple to broad curl. Light red-brown varnish, retouched (Hamma 1961).
