1710 c. - Violin

Soundboard of spruce with narrow grain. Back of two pieces of curly maple with broad curl, glued in a herringbone pattern with vertex at the bottom. Ribs of wood similar to that of the back. Scroll of maple smooth. Golden-brown varnish.
