1709 - Violin "Armand von Vecsey"
Soundboard of spruce with end grain in the center, which widens towards the flanks. Back of two pieces of curly maple on average marbling, glued in a herringbone pattern with apex at the top, but almost horizontally between the upper lobes. Ribs of curly maple of mediun-narrow curl. Head with original scroll joined with later pegbox (D'Attili 1984; Moennig; Machold). Red-brown varnish on a golden ground.
