1703 - Violin "Menuhin"
Soundboard of spruce at medium grain that opens to the bass. Back of one piece of curly maple cut on the slab with irregular horizontal medium curl above and below, descendant to the right in the middle. Ribs of wood similar to that of the back but with curl narrowest. Scroll of curly maple cut on the quarter with narrow curl. Golden brown curl.
