1701 - Cello "Servais"

Soundboard of spruce with pronounced medium grain. Back of two pieces of curly maple on medium curl, glued in a herringbone pattern with apex at the top and four original additions in the lobes. Ribs of wood similar to that of the back. Original neck. Red-orange varnish.
