1699 - Violin "Lafont"

Soundboard of spruce to very fine vein at the center, which widens towards the flanks. Back of one piece of curly maple cut on the slab and with narrow curl just regular horizontal. Ribs of curly maple cut and on the quarter and of horizontal narrow curl, the lower rib in one piece. Scroll of curly maple with a light medium narrow curl. Orange-brown varnish.
