1697 - Violin "Prince Uchtomsky - Russian Strad"

Soundboard of spruce to medium grain. Back of two pieces of curly maple on medium curl, glued in a herringbone pattern with apex at the top. Ribs and scroll of wood similar to that of the back. Red-brown varnish.
