1697 - Violin "Molitor - Récamier"

Soundboard of spruce from narrow to medium grain. Back of one piece of curly maple cut on the slab and medium-narrow curl, irregular and discontinuous and almost horizontal. Ribs and scroll of curly maple to medium curl, branded "Curtis Phila" on the lower rib. Golden varnish.
