1696 c. - Violin
Soundboard of spruce to fine grain at the center, which widens towards the hips. Back of two pieces of curly maple on medium curl, glued in a herringbone pattern with apex at the bottom. Ribs and scroll of wood similar to that of the back. Orange-brown light varnish.
