1695 c. - Violin "Sandars"

Soundboard with many repairs. Back of two pieces of curly maple to medium-large curl , glued in a herringbone pattern with apex at the top. Ribs of wood similar to that of the back. Scroll of curly maple at narrow curl. Red varnish.
