1695/98 - Violin

Soundboard of spruce with large vein in the middle that narrows towards the flanks. Back of two pieces of curly maple with narrow curl, glued in a herringbone pattern with vertex at the top. Ribs of curly maple with wider curl than that of the back. Scroll attributed to other Italian luthier in the same period. Golden brown varnish.
