The top, probably made at the beginning of the eighteenth century, is attributed to a pupil of Giovanni Battista Rogeri. The back is two-piece of maple of medium curl, ascending from a center joint.

- The dendrochronology of the top made by Peter Ratcliff, London, September 18, 2013, has dated the latest rings in 1714 for the basses and 1719 for the treble.
