Soundboard of spruce vein, fine of the treble, which widens towards the bass. Back in two pieces of curly maple to medium-narrow curl, glued in a herringbone pattern with apex at the top. Ribs of wood similar to that of the back. Scroll of plain maple. Golden-amber varnish on a yellow-golden light ground.
