1686 - Violin

Soundboard of spruce with medium grain in the center, which narrows towards the flanks. Back of two pieces of curly maple with faint medium horizontal curl. Ribs of wood similar to that of the back. Scroll of curly maple with moire larger than that of the back. Golden-brown varnish.
