  • Dendrochronological analysis by John C. Topham, Surrey, June 16 & 20, 2005, which determined that the soundboard is not original.
  • Hill (1965) suggested dating to 1686-88, anticipated by Vatelot (2005) in 1680-85. Machold (2005) attributed all parts of the instrument entirely by Antonio Stradivari.
