1684 - Violin

Soundboard  of spruce at open vein, with the sign of a node in the left lower lobe. Back of two pieces of curly maple with narrow curl poorly marked, glued in a herringbone pattern with vertex at the top. Ribs of wood similar to that of the back. Scroll of maple smooth cut on the slab. Golden brown varnish.
