1683 - Small violin "Cipriani Potter"

Soundboard of spruce bordered with inlaid lozenges and small squares in black ivory mastic. Back of one piece of curly maple to broad curl descending to the right, bordered with inlaid diamonds and small squares in black ivory mastic. Ribs and scroll decorated with plant shoots engraved and filled with black mastic. Neck original modernized. Golden varnish.
