1680 c. - Violin

Soundboard of spruce with vein from narrow to medium but irregular. Back of two pieces of curly maple with faint irregular narrow curl, glued in a herringbone pattern with vertex at the top. Ribs of wood similar to that of the bottom, but with curl weaker. Scroll of curly maple with faint medium curl. Golden varnish.
