1680 - Violin

Soundboard of spruce of medium grain that opens towards the hips. Back of two pieces of curly maple on average curl, glued in a herringbone pattern with vertex at the bottom. Ribs of wood similar to that of the back. Scroll of curly maple with medium faint curl. Golden varnish.
