1680 - Violin
Soundboard of two pieces of spruce at media vein that widens at the flanks. Back of one piece of curly maple cut on the slab with curl more or less horizontal. Ribs of wood similar to that of the back but cut on the quarter. Golden-orange varnish on a light ground.
