Soundboard of spruce to narrow grain that broadening at the franks. Back of two pieces of curly maple on medium curl, glued to slight herringbone with apex at the bottom. Ribs of wood similar to that of the back. Scroll of curly maple on medium curl. Transparent red amber brown varnish.
